Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Partners with staff, medical, and unit leadership to ensure clinical excellence within a family-centered care environment.
  • Utilizes multiple sources of information and reports to identify trends and develop action plans.
  • Participates as a full partner with the Medical Director and healthcare provider team to ensure cohesive department communication.
  • Demonstrates astute fiscal accountability by managing and justifying resources, including personnel, equipment, supplies, and capital.
  • Facilitates collaboration and cooperation among diverse groups, people, and professional disciplines to achieve desired results.
  • Facilitates staff participation and participates in Quality Outcomes Program and/or unit-based quality initiatives to develop and monitor exemplary clinical outcomes.
  • Commits to the ongoing development of self, unit leadership team, and staff to achieve professional goals.

Skills & Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Master's Degree in Nursing, Business, or Healthcare Field
  • RN - License
  • BLS - Certification
  • Average daily census for ACHD unit: 11
  • Average daily census for CPCU unit: 38
  • 3 years' experience in management/leadership
