Director of Human ResourcesLocation: Northwest Florida (Emerald Coast) OverviewA leading, large-scale hospitality organization is seeking a Director of Human Resources to lead all aspects of HR strategy and operations for a high-volume, service-driven environment. This role partners closely with executive leadership to drive employee engagement, talent acquisition, and organizational performance across a workforce of 500+ employees. Key ResponsibilitiesLead all Human Resources functions including recruiting, employee relations, training & development, and compliancePartner with leadership to build and sustain a high-performance, service-focused cultureOversee full-cycle recruitment and onboarding to ensure attraction and retention of top talentDrive employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and retention strategiesEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local employment lawsManage performance management processes and leadership development effortsOversee compensation, benefits, and HRIS systemsLead and develop the HR team while managing departmental budget and workforce planning Qualifications3-5+ years of HR leadership experience in a large, employee-intensive environment (500+ employees)Prior experience in hospitality, hotel, or resort operations requiredStrong background in employee relations, engagement, and culture developmentDemonstrated ability to partner with senior leadership and influence decision-makingSolid understanding of employment law, compliance, and HR best practicesHR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM) preferred
