About the role
The Director Human Resources will oversee HR operations for Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital. This is a cornerstone and highly visible opportunity for an experienced and strategic Human Resource Director.
Responsibilities
- Direct the HR team and formulate partnerships across the HR team and Centers of Expertise (CoE) to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of CommonSpirit Health.
- Align business objectives with employees and management, and serve as an evidence-based consultant to executive leadership related to our organizational goals and strategy on Human Resource related issues, including employee health, employee relations, labor relations, performance management, training, policy application, organizational development, workforce planning, ADA interactive process, and compensation.
- Act as a development coach to our operations leaders and oversee the employee engagement and workforce culture strategies that make Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital a great place to work.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree and minimum of 7 years HR or leadership experience, OR a minimum of 10 years HR or leadership experience in the discipline, OR a master’s degree with relevant experience.
- HR experience should encompass generalist experience or at least 2 or more areas of specialty, e.g., compensation, benefits, employee/labor relations, talent acquisition, etc.
- Demonstrated employee relations experience with a working knowledge of recruitment, training delivery, benefits and compensation theory/administration.
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification.

Pay
The posted compensation range of $64.68 - $96.21 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting.

Mondays - Fridays (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
