About the Role

The Director, HRIS & People Analytics is responsible for leading the strategy, implementation, and optimization of Avnet’s HRIS and people analytics capabilities. This role ensures the effective use of HR technology and workforce data to drive data-driven decisions, improve employee experience, and support business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage strong collaboration skills to partner closely with HR leadership and related process/product owners, IT, finance, and business stakeholders to build advanced reporting, analytics, and workforce insights.
  • Lead and develop an HRIS team of managers, analysts, data analysts, and technology specialists.
  • Promote data literacy within the HR organization.
  • Establish and communicate best practices for HR data management and analytics.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners, Finance, IT, and executive leadership.
  • Support workforce planning and organizational design initiatives.
  • Provide analytics support for HR strategic initiatives, projects, and M&A activities.

Requirements

  • Typically 10+ years including 5+ years of management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.

Qualifications

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Proven experience in HRIS strategy and governance.
  • Experience in building and leading people analytics teams.
  • Knowledge of HRIS systems and workforce analytics tools.
  • Ability to translate complex HR data into actionable recommendations for leadership.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and implementing new HR technology solutions.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
