About the Role
The Director, HR Technology & Digital AI Transformation, will serve as a leader for the HR Technology COE, partnering closely with senior leaders to define strategy, solve complex enterprise challenges, and lead innovation across Workday, payroll platforms, analytics, and emerging AI technologies. Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior HR and enterprise leaders on HR Operations, HRIS strategy, risk, controls, and long-term capability roadmaps.
- Represent HR Operations and HR technology perspectives in complex, high-stakes discussions that impact multiple functions and geographies.
- Define principles and governance models that elevate global HR data integrity, compliance, and operational excellence.
- Own resolution of enterprise-impacting issues across Workday, payroll, and downstream systems—often with incomplete information and significant complexity.
- Apply sound judgment, deep expertise, and systems thinking to drive outcomes that balance risk, user experience, and scalability.
- Drive innovative operating models and system enhancements leveraging Workday, analytics, Agentic AI, and emerging HR technologies.
- Use data, insights, and trends to identify root causes, uncover improvement opportunities, and influence smarter decision-making.
- Partner with cross-functional teams and external vendors to test, implement, and scale new capabilities globally.
- Design and sustain best-in-class HR operations through clear standards, controls, and continuous improvement routines.
- Establish quality metrics, service benchmarks, and scalable processes that support long-term growth and audit readiness.
- Influence leaders and teams across regions to adopt consistent, high-quality ways of working.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- 12+ years of progressive experience in HR Technology, HRIS, HR Operations, Payroll, IT, or related enterprise environments.
- 5+ years of people leadership experience, preferably leading teams in a matrixed and global environment.
- Ability to travel occasionally, both domestically and internationally.
- Proven experience leading enterprise technology operations strategy, governance, and large-scale transformation initiatives.
- Demonstrated success driving technology-enabled change in complex, global organizations.
- Experience working in a global environment with the flexibility to support stakeholders across multiple regions and time zones, including North America, Europe, and Asia.
- Experience partnering with senior leaders across HR, IT, Finance, and business functions to influence strategy and drive organizational outcomes.
- Experience with Microsoft Co-Pilot a plus.

Pay
Compensation: $158,500.00 - $211,500.00 a year, with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role. Annual bonus eligible.
