Director, HR Central

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Director, HR Central to join the team of a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space. This role will lead a centralized HR shared services function with a strong focus on operational execution, service quality, and team performance. The Director will partner with business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to support enterprise-wide strategic initiatives and drive effective change management across the organization. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity to strengthen HR service delivery, workforce alignment, and continuous improvement in a complex manufacturing environment. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Define operational targets and goals for the HR shared services team aligned with business strategy.
• Develop and implement project change management plans for enterprise-wide strategic projects.
• Manage the shared services function and lead annual goal-setting and performance reviews.
• Ensure optimal staffing levels for the HR shared services team based on workforce demand.
• Provide continuous coaching and mentoring for team members' professional development.
• Monitor and strategically plan for HR shared services service level objectives and quality improvements.
• Oversee vendor management and administration for multiple providers/services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Psychology, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of demonstrated Human Resources experience.
• 3+ years of supervisory or managerial experience, or equivalent.
• Master's degree preferred.

Pay

$134,100 – $241,400 annually
