About the Role
The Director, Healthcare Analytics is a senior individual contributor within Swoop’s Product Innovation Team. This role sets the strategic direction for leveraging diverse healthcare and non-healthcare data assets, including claims (RWD), social determinants of health (SDOH), pharmacy and treatment data, and user-generated content (UGC). The position owns the analytics roadmap, builds tools and pipelines for go-to-market teams, and serves as the primary voice on data-driven strategy for senior stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Set the strategic direction and roadmap for healthcare analytics, aligning data initiatives with company-wide priorities.
- Conduct advanced SQL-based data analysis, establishing best practices for analytical rigor and reporting.
- Own the development and governance of analytical reports supporting both short-term requests and long-term strategic initiatives.
- Partner with senior cross-functional leaders, including engineering, data science, and business unit heads, to drive data exploration and innovation.
- Build tools and pipelines that equip go-to-market teams with the data and insights needed to measure the impact of Swoop’s campaigns and community engagement initiatives.
- Champion new methodologies and tooling to elevate data analysis and reporting practices across the organization.
- Leverage AI and generative AI to build analytics skills and assistants for internal and potential external deployment.
- Present findings and strategic recommendations to executive leadership, using strong storytelling to translate complex data insights into business decisions.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in data analytics, with a track record of progressively increasing responsibility.
- Deep understanding of healthcare data and the healthcare industry, including familiarity with pharmacy, pharmacy data, and treatment data.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience with large data sets and data infrastructure.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to set direction for a function.
- Experience with data visualization tools and techniques.
- Curiosity and passion for data exploration and healthcare innovation.
- Excellent executive communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data insights into actionable, business-level recommendations.
- Proven ability to build relationships and influence outcomes across cross-functional and senior stakeholder groups.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
Pay
170,000 - 200,000 USD per year (Remote, United States).
