Plans, directs and evaluates activities of Health Information Management (HIM) for Coosa Valley Medical Center. Maintains effective relationships with peers and Medical Staff. Ensures the privacy of health information. Develops, modifies and organizes all HIM operational activities, including personnel, process and systems as necessary to support a complete, secure and accurate medical record. Recognizes the importance of the HIM function in Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Qualifications For The Job... Advanced degree in Health Information Management, Health Information Technology, or Medical Records Administration from an approved college or university. RHIA and/or RHIT Certification in Health Information Management field are required. Inpatient and Outpatient hospital coding certification is a plus.
