About the role
The Director, Growth & Business Development will drive enterprise growth by creating and expanding strategic business opportunities within complex B2B markets. Responsibilities include prospecting, managing sales cycles, and collaborating with subject matter experts to develop integrated solutions.
Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities through structured outreach, relationship development, and targeted account strategies.
- Manage and maintain a qualified sales pipeline with clear ownership of lead generation, qualification, and opportunity progression.
- Drive opportunities from discovery through close by managing client communications, coordinating internal teams, addressing objections, and maintaining deal momentum.
- Partner with subject matter experts to develop integrated solutions aligned with client growth objectives, including strategy, analytics, activation, and commercial transformation initiatives.
- Use AI-powered tools to improve prospecting, account research, lead prioritization, opportunity qualification, proposal development, and commercial insights.
- Build trusted relationships with enterprise stakeholders and navigate complex, multi-persona buying environments.
- Contribute to growth strategies, market intelligence, and continuous improvement of business development processes.
- Support the development of compelling value propositions and client-facing materials that demonstrate measurable business impact.
Requirements
- 5-7+ years of experience in marketing consulting, analytics, agency, or related B2B/B2B2C business development environments.
- Demonstrated success generating self-sourced pipeline and developing new business relationships with enterprise marketing, revenue, or commercial leaders.
- Proven experience selling consultative solutions related to go-to-market strategy, marketing analytics, marketing transformation, or sales effectiveness.
- Experience managing complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Track record of closing large-scale consulting or agency engagements valued at $500,000+.
- Experience using AI tools to improve prospecting, opportunity research, lead prioritization, forecasting, proposal development, and sales productivity.
- Strong relationship-building, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to understand client challenges, shape solutions, and translate business needs into measurable outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Ability to work remotely while maintaining alignment with teams operating in EST hours.
