Director, Global Quantum System Deployment

Responsibilities
- Build and scale the company’s global Field Engineering organization
- Own end-to-end deployment of quantum computing systems from site readiness to operational handoff
- Lead deployment of complex systems including superconducting processors and supporting infrastructure
- Serve as the senior technical point during customer deployments
- Establish deployment processes, standards, documentation, and operational metrics
- Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance deployment readiness and customer experience
- Drive improvements in deployment efficiency and lifecycle support
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Physics, Engineering, or related field (Ph.D. preferred)
- 10+ years in deploying or supporting complex hardware systems
- 3+ years of people management experience
- Strong systems engineering background with mechanical, electrical, software, and networking integration
- Experience in quantum computing, cryogenic systems, RF/microwave systems, semiconductor equipment, or scientific instrumentation
- Excellent leadership and customer-facing communication skills
- Willingness to travel globally (30-40%)
