About the role
For our client, we are seeking a Director Global Quantum System Deployment to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. This role will advance people and talent initiatives that strengthen organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, and employee experience. You will partner with global leaders, HR centers of excellence, and functional stakeholders to create consistent practices across teams and regions. The position offers the opportunity to influence culture, talent strategy, and scalable people operations within a technology-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Build and lead the company's global Field Engineering organization
- Manage end-to-end deployment of on-premise quantum computing systems
- Lead the integration and commissioning of complex systems, including superconducting processors and control electronics
- Serve as a senior technical escalation point during deployments and operations
- Establish standards, processes, and metrics for field engineering and deployments
- Collaborate across departments to enhance deployment readiness and customer experience
- Drive continuous improvement in deployment efficiency and lifecycle support
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Physics, Engineering, or related field; Ph.D. preferred
- 10+ years of experience in deploying or supporting complex hardware systems
- 3+ years of people management experience
- Strong systems engineering expertise in mechanical, electrical, software, networking, and controls integration
- Experience with quantum computing or related technologies like cryogenic systems or RF/microwave systems
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with customer-facing experience
- Willingness to travel globally (30-40%)

Compensation: $240,000 – $275,000 annually
