Director Global Patient Solutions Strategy & Value
About the Role
We're building a connected, end-to-end Enterprise AI engine—uniting data foundations, AI technology, process reinvention, and business-facing AI to accelerate results across the whole value chain. Success depends on being exceptional connectors: you'll actively leverage existing capabilities, celebrate and promote reuse, export breakthrough ideas across geographies and functions, and obsess over scaling impact rather than building in isolation. If you thrive in high-collaboration environments where your role is to turn complex, cross-functional problems into reusable, enterprise-wide capabilities—and where the measure of success is adoption and scale, not just innovation—you'll have the platform (and sponsorship) to make it real.
Within Global Patient Solutions, you will translate deep patient insight, behavioral science, digital health, and AI-enabled technologies into evidence-based patient solutions that improve the patient’s experience and deliver measurable impact across Oncology and Biopharmaceutical indications. As part of AstraZeneca’s connected Enterprise AI ecosystem, you will help evolve and scale our global patient engagement strategy, including complex patient solutions and Connect360, by integrating real-world data, patient-reported outcomes, behavioral signals, digital patient monitoring insights, and longitudinal engagement patterns to design timely, personalized, and clinically relevant interventions at scale.
This role will play a critical part in defining where we focus, how we design and prioritize patient solutions interventions, how we measure success through clear KPIs, and how we demonstrate value for patients, markets, and the enterprise. Ultimately, you will help build a global, multi-indication, continuous-learning patient engagement engine that elevates patient experience, improves confidence and resilience, supports adherence and persistence, and sets a new benchmark for compassionate, data-driven patient care worldwide.
