Director, Global Names Patient Access Strategy & Operations

For our client, we are seeking a Director, Global Names Patient Access Strategy & Operations to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This leader will shape the strategy and day-to-day execution of global patient access initiatives designed to help patients reach needed therapies more efficiently. The role will partner closely with Medical Affairs, Legal, vendors, and other internal stakeholders to build compliant, scalable access programs. It will also play a key role in governance, operational oversight, and the transition of initiatives once regulatory milestones are achieved. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $201,000 – $251,000 annually Responsibilities Develop a global strategy for named patient access initiatives. Design and implement initiatives to address patient unmet needs. Oversee the operations of access initiatives and coordinate across multiple departments. Collaborate with Medical Affairs and Legal teams to ensure compliance. Lead quarterly business reviews with vendors and stakeholders. Obtain governance approval for new initiatives. Supervise the closure of initiatives following regulatory approval. Establish policies and frameworks to maintain regulatory compliance. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a healthcare field; advanced degree preferred. 8-10 years of experience in commercial or medical affairs within a biotech/pharmaceutical company. Experience designing and operationalizing global early access programs. Strong attention to detail for managing day-to-day operations of access programs. Understanding of regulatory pathways and compliance considerations. Strategic thinking and innovation skills to solve critical business issues. Benefits Competitive cash compensation.
