Overview

The Marketing function at SharkNinja is directly accountable for achieving a high rate of sale across the portfolio, focusing on demand creation, sell-in, and sell-through of both new product launches and the base business. This highly cross-functional role partners closely with R&D, Engineering, Product Development, Demand Planning, Creative, Media, Sales, Consumer Insights, and regional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Portfolio Strategy
    Partner cross-functionally to define portfolio strategy and ensure product definition, pricing, cost structure, and timelines align with retailer planning cycles while delivering market share, revenue, and profitability targets.

  • Translate Insights into Action
    Develop a deep understanding of consumer needs, category dynamics, pricing, positioning, purchase drivers, and the competitive landscape. Translate data and insights into actionable recommendations that drive product assortment, innovation priorities, and growth strategies.

  • Lead Go-to-Market Excellence
    Collaborate with Product Development, Marketing Communications, Creative, and Marketing Services teams to develop and execute integrated launch and communication plans. Drive message development and execution across packaging, PR, retail, digital, social, and other consumer touchpoints.

  • Keep the Consumer Front and Center
    Partner with Consumer Insights to identify and answer key strategic questions around product positioning, messaging, pricing, and communications. Leverage consumer and market insights to strengthen marketing effectiveness and inform business decisions.

  • Enable Retailer Success
    Partner with Sales and Category Management teams to build compelling sell stories and commercial strategies. Communicate product value propositions and deliver category insights, consumer trends, assortment recommendations, pricing strategies, and promotional plans that support retailer growth.

  • Measure, Learn, and Improve
    Evaluate business performance, marketing effectiveness, and launch outcomes. Identify opportunities for optimization and establish best practices that improve consumer engagement and commercial results across channels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field required; MBA preferred.

  • 8+ years of progressive marketing experience, preferably within consumer products, durable goods, or other consumer-focused industries.

  • Proven experience developing brand strategy, positioning, messaging, and integrated marketing plans.

  • Experience leveraging consumer insights to create effective marketing programs and drive business growth.

  • Experience leading creative development, media strategy, and campaign execution.

  • Experience supporting new product development and commercialization.

  • Experience working in global or multi-market environments strongly preferred.

Location

This role is based in Needham, MA or our NYC office with travel to Needham HQ every other week and follows a hybrid work schedule.

Pay Range

The annual salary range for this position is $132,600—$239,200 USD.
