About the Role
We are seeking a Director of Global Marketing – Hair & Body Hygiene to support the AVP of Global Marketing – New Categories and play a key role in CeraVe's global expansion, product launches, and brand vision. The ideal candidate will have experience in product development or global marketing and will support the Hair & Body Hygiene categories. This role requires a driven individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, reliable, and strong in timeline and project management.

Responsibilities
- Oversee development and management of the Hair & Body Hygiene categories.
- Build a 3-year product innovation plan using consumer and scientific insights, trends, and product knowledge to address business needs and meet Brand DNA.
- Partner with Labs and the Industrial Development team to ensure product feasibility and appropriate development timelines.
- Manage end-to-end project launch, including insights, formula direction, packaging design, artwork, claims, and launch strategy, ensuring comprehensive and on-time 360 launches in partnership with Zone and Market teams.
- Oversee concept development, incorporating consumer and scientific insights to create meaningful and innovative product positioning aligned with business needs and brand equity.
- Oversee the product development process, including dermatologist input and formula approvals for new products and existing product reformulations.
- Manage the end-to-end claims process, including clinical testing and medical studies.
- Ensure project feasibility and profitability through cost of goods management.
- Create a vision for product packaging and collaborate with creative teams on package development; oversee the artwork process, including reviewing and approving all mechanicals.
- Oversee market, consumer, and dermatologist research and analyses to provide insights on brand challenges, risks, and opportunities.
- Work with Global Consumer Research to analyze global category research and develop action plans for the Hair category.
- Brief and create integrated consumer launch plans with cross-functional partners and agencies, including hero assets, POS displays, social assets, PDP copy, social activations, and educational videos.
- Brief and create medical activation plans, including medical conference activations, Ad Board presentations, and core visual aids.
- Ensure content aligns with Brand DNA and manage the production budget to drive cost efficiencies.
- Support management meeting agendas for international meetings, develop materials, and ensure presentation quality.
- Effectively present to senior management.
- Support business and coordinate communication across all zones related to product categories managed.
- Ensure global consistency of launches via adoption and execution of marketing plans within managed categories.
- Support CeraVe's sustainability initiatives related to Hair & Body Hygiene and ensure brand compliance with L'Oréal for the Future initiatives, including sustainable packaging and formula revisions.
- Manage and develop the Marketing Manager – Hair and VIE.
Requirements
- 8+ years of related business experience.
- 4+ years of prior experience in Global Marketing and/or Product Development in consumer-packaged goods or beauty.
- Haircare and skincare experience preferred.
- 2+ years of prior experience managing a team.
- Experience working collaboratively with Labs on new products or renovations.
- Experience successfully launching and managing a new product or renovation through its entire life cycle.
- Experience briefing and managing external creative agencies to bring creative concepts to life.
- Proactive, with the ability to self-manage projects and overcome obstacles independently.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Suite, especially PowerPoint.
- Excellent presentation skills: ability to influence internal and external stakeholders through persuasive presentations.
- Leadership skills: ability to demonstrate leadership and foster cooperation within the brand team and cross-functional partners.
- Excellent interpersonal skills (written and oral).

Being present in the office three days a week is considered an essential function of this role for eligible full-time employees.
