About the role

The Inpatient Director of Pharmacy oversees departmental policies for Inpatient Pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with hospital standards and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enforce policies related to pharmacy operations
• Implement new concepts in drug distribution and management
• Ensure adherence to hospital policies and standards of pharmacy practice
• Lead and manage pharmacy staff and resources
• Maintain compliance with licensing and certification requirements

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's in Pharmacy essential; Doctorate preferred
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a comparable setting
• Licensure: Texas Registered Pharmacist License in good standing required
• Preferred: Board Certification in Pharmacotherapy (BCPS)
