The Inpatient Director of Pharmacy oversees the operation of inpatient pharmacy departments, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and standards of pharmacy practice. Key responsibilities include implementing departmental policies, planning and executing new drug distribution and control concepts, and maintaining regulatory compliance. The role involves leadership in pharmacy operations, staff management, and strategic planning to optimize medication services.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy
• Five years of experience in a comparable setting
• Texas Registered Pharmacist License in good standing
• Preferred: Doctorate degree in Pharmacy and Board Certification in Pharmacotherapy (BCPS)
