ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Serve as a strategic finance partner to Technology Senior Management
- Translate financial results into operational insights and recommended actions
- Aid in the direction of the financial management as it relates to enterprise roadmaps and staffing
- Support executive decision-making through financial modeling and tradeoff analysis
- Quantify impacts of investment changes, and cost reduction initiatives
- Define and track key performance indicators and unit economics for technology investment spend
- Develop metrics for return on investment and business outcomes for enterprise investments
- Oversee the risk analysis and management process
- Translate product and technology roadmaps into long range financial plans
- Partner with technology leadership to assess financial impact of roadmap changes, timing shifts, and prioritization decisions
- Support investment decisions, including new product development, enhancements, and system decommission roadmaps
- Maintain workforce hiring progress, attrition, and capacity constraints; provide actionable insights to leadership
- Lead business case analyses to evaluate build vs. buy vs. outsource decisions
- Track utilization and optimize licensing costs in partnership with procurement and technology
- Oversee and manage the work and activities of all technology finance staff
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing FP&A team supporting technology functions
- Ensure alignment with accounting policies and audit requirements
- Possess knowledge of accounting processes, procedures, and internal controls
- Strong research and analysis skills
- Able to work well as part of a team cross functionally
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Customer service orientation
- Possess very good communication skills – written and verbal
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Ability to travel 10% of the time
- Ability to clear required background check
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Stride, Inc. considers a person’s education, experience, and qualifications, as well as the position’s work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value when determining a new employee’s salary level. Salaries will differ based on these factors, the position’s level and expected contribution, and the employee’s benefits elections. Offers will typically be in the bottom half of the range. We anticipate the salary range to be $154,241.00 - $205,655.00.
