Duties And Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and filing of SEC reports, including 10-Ks, 10-Qs, 8-Ks, and earnings materials
- Drive technical accounting research, disclosure governance, and IPO readiness initiatives
- Lead the implementation and optimization of Workiva and reporting automation
- Partner closely with Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Legal, Investor Relations, and external auditors
- Strengthen SOX compliance, disclosure controls, and reporting processes
- Build and mentor a high-performing financial reporting team while driving continuous process improvement
Required Qualifications
- CPA required (Big 4 strongly preferred)
- Mix of public accounting and public company experience
- 15+ years progressive experience in external reporting, technical accounting, controllership, or audit
- Demonstrated experience overseeing SEC filings for a public company
- Extensive knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, Sarbanes-Oxley, and emerging guidance
- Experience participating in disclosure review committee process
- Hands-on experience with Workiva is required
- Background supporting technical accounting, complex transactions, or IPO/public company readiness
- Outstanding executive presence with the ability to influence senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
