Responsibilities
- Execute the corporate PR strategy, enhancing visibility for executive leadership in media
- Draft press releases, investor messaging, and other key external communications materials
- Develop strategies for increased visibility through various media and speaking engagements
- Provide strategic advice on messaging to internal and external stakeholders
- Cook up communication plans across diverse teams, including Finance and Investor Relations
- Manage day-to-day partnership with PR agencies for effective communications delivery
- Monitor crises to protect corporate reputation and prepare communication plans for incidents
Qualifications
- 15+ years in corporate communications with a focus on financial narrative and issues management
- Proven experience with high-growth technology companies, especially during funding phases or pre-IPO
- Strong background in media relations, particularly with business and financial journalists
- Experience in both in-house roles and PR agencies, showcasing adaptability
- Familiarity with M&A communications and corporate transactions is essential
- Demonstrated crisis communications expertise and issues management capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills tailored to diverse audiences
