About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director, Finance Systems & Continuous Improvement to join our team. This role is integral to the strategic direction of the company, leading the development and implementation of financial systems and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of financial systems, ensuring they align with business objectives and operational needs.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organization, identifying opportunities for efficiency and growth.
  • Oversee the migration of financial systems to the cloud, ensuring a smooth and efficient transition.
  • Develop and maintain the data governance framework, ensuring the integrity, security, and quality of data.
  • Lead the development and implementation of enterprise reporting and financial analytics capabilities, delivering insights that drive decision-making.
  • Oversee the creation of forecasting models, providing accurate and timely predictions of financial performance.
  • Develop and maintain the data warehouse, ensuring it meets needs for data storage, retrieval, and analysis.
  • Lead the implementation of DataOps and CI/CD pipelines, ensuring they support goals for agility and efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain self-service analytics capabilities, empowering teams to access and analyze data independently.
  • Oversee the creation of executive reporting, ensuring it provides accurate and timely information for decision-making.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role, with a demonstrated track record of success.
  • Expertise in project management, continuous improvement, and ERP implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of database architecture, Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Azure, and big data.
  • Experience with data visualization tools, particularly PowerBI Dashboards.
  • Proficiency with Synapse, margin analysis, and analytics management.
  • Experience with Azure Data Lake, Azure DevOps, data warehousing, and cloud migration.
  • Strong understanding of data governance principles and practices.
  • Experience with executive reporting, financial analytics, and forecasting models.
  • Knowledge of enterprise reporting, business intelligence, and digital transformation.
  • Experience with DataOps, CI/CD pipelines, and self-service analytics.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Pay

$160,000 - $200,000 per year
