Director - Finance & Operations

About the role

The Director - Finance & Operations will lead financial strategy, budgeting, and planning across the Schools of Health Sciences, while serving as a key leader in driving transformative change across the finance organization. This role will lead the team in reimagining how financial processes, reporting, and decision-making are delivered - streamlining operations, eliminating manual work, and leveraging innovative technology and Power BI to create modern, data-driven tools and insights. The ideal candidate will be a strategic, forward-thinking leader who can inspire teams, challenge traditional approaches, and build scalable solutions that fundamentally improve how finance supports the organization.

Responsibilities

• Directs the budgeting process and oversees the analysis and review of financial information.
• Leads team and establishes the direction, goals, and implementation strategy of the department.
• Formulates, implements, and ensures compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Collaborates with key stakeholders and evaluates success of department.

Requirements

• Minimum education level: Bachelor's Degree.
• Minimum years of experience: 7 years.
• Combination of education and relevant experience will be considered in lieu of education and/or experience requirement.

• Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgement in significant matters.

Pay

Hiring Range: $86,351 - $122,330 annual.
