About the role

This person will lead the organization’s finance and accounting function, including budgeting, forecasting, cash management, financial reporting, internal controls, grant accounting, restricted funds, audit, Form 990, and regulatory compliance. They will also oversee broader nonprofit operations, including payroll, benefits administration, technology, insurance, legal and regulatory compliance, vendor management, and organizational policies.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience with strong nonprofit exposure
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field required; advanced degree a plus (MBA or Master’s in accounting)
• CPA required
• Experience with restricted funds, PAC $, 501(c)(3)/501(c)(4) entities, or other affiliated nonprofit structures is a big plus

Pay

Salary range: $140K to $175K base
