Specific Accountabilities

  • Deliver exceptional service to internal and external members by consistently supporting decisions that align with Allegacy’s Brand Culture, mission, and core values.
  • Ensure compliance with bylaws, regulatory requirements, Board of Directors policies, and established internal controls and procedures.
  • Lead, review, and validate financial analyses, calculations, and reports to ensure accuracy, integrity, and clarity of financial information.
  • Provide financial leadership and analytical support aligned with short- and long-term organizational goals.
  • Support the development of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and financial metrics, proactively identifying trends, opportunities, risks, and recommended actions.
  • Partner with lines of business to identify key drivers of financial performance and support data-driven decision-making.

Product, Pricing, Market, and Economic Analysis

  • Serve as a key finance liaison for cross-functional product and pricing initiatives, translating complex financial analysis into clear recommendations for senior leadership and business partners.
  • Monitor and evaluate loan and deposit pricing performance, margin trends, and profitability; collaborate with internal teams to recommend appropriate pricing strategies.
  • Conduct ongoing market and competitive analysis to assess product offerings, pricing structures, and industry trends, identifying opportunities to enhance competitiveness and financial performance.
  • Assess macroeconomic trends and economic indicators, including interest rate movements, inflation, and market conditions—to inform financial strategy, product planning, pricing decisions, and balance sheet management.

Strategic & Operational Leadership

  • Perform trend analysis, financial modeling, and scenario (“what-if”) analysis to support strategic initiatives and executive decision-making.
  • Prepare and present executive-level financial presentations and insights.
  • Document, implement, and monitor finance-related policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Cook up and communicate with NCUA examiners and external auditors related to finance activities.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of evolving regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Support change management initiatives by developing clear process roadmaps and promoting continuous improvement.
  • Lead and contribute to cross-functional projects and special initiatives as assigned by the Senior Vice President of Finance.
  • Manage ad hoc reporting and complex financial analyses as needed to support the organization.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong analytical skills with a solid foundation in finance principles and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience with financial modeling, predictive analytics, and complex operational and financial analysis.
  • Demonstrated leadership capability, including coaching, development, and performance management of direct reports.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing, analytics, reporting tools, and best practices.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly and effectively to audiences at all organizational levels.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; strong working knowledge of PowerPoint and Word.
  • Self-directed, adaptable, and capable of solving complex problems independently and collaboratively.
  • Willingness and ability to take on additional responsibilities.
  • Eligibility to be bonded.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field required.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Finance.
  • Previous management experience preferred (minimum two years).
  • Experience with asset/liability management (ALM) modeling systems preferred.
  • Financial institution experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong critical thinking, interpersonal, and communication skills with a high attention to detail.
