Director, Experience / Creator Events

About the role

This role will guide experiential and creator-led event strategies that connect brands with audiences through culturally relevant activations. You will oversee client relationships, lead a growing team, and help shape integrated programs that support campaign objectives across multiple accounts. The position combines strategic client service, cross-functional coordination, and hands-on budget management in a fast-moving agency environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a client services team starting with 1 direct report
• Mentor talent and foster a high-performance culture
• Develop integrated experiential solutions aligned with campaign objectives
• Oversee multiple accounts, ensuring quality and delivery
• Build and nurture strong client relationships
• Collaborate across departments to deliver culturally relevant programs
• Manage project budgets and draft agency fees
• Champion process improvements while ensuring exceptional client service
• Act as a subject matter expert on experiential marketing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required
• 8+ years of agency experience in experiential, sports, entertainment, or culture
• Track record of managing and growing client accounts
• Proven leadership and team-building skills
• Understanding of the experiential landscape and creator-led activations
• Experience in integrated team collaboration
• Ability to manage diverse budgets from $100K to multi-million dollar projects
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills

Compensation

$115,000 – $135,000 annually
