Director, Executive Talent Insights & Research

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Director, Executive Talent Insights & Research to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will lead a specialized team focused on executive talent intelligence, research, and sourcing strategy. The position is responsible for delivering data-driven insights that inform executive hiring decisions, strengthen talent pipelines, and support long-term workforce planning. It also plays a key role in optimizing recruiting technology, service delivery, and cross-functional execution across a competitive talent landscape.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing team of associates and researchers
• Understand the design and execution of full life-cycle talent acquisition technology and service delivery transformation
• Drive direct sourcing strategies and high-touch talent attraction across competitive landscapes
• Build proactive talent ecosystems for future executive needs
• Deliver actionable analyses integrating various data sources for executive decision-making
• Present research methodologies to senior leaders, defending strategies with data-driven insights
• Optimize technology and processes for improved recruiting efficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or military experience
• 7+ years in executive research, talent intelligence, or talent acquisition
• 9+ years of experience advising executive leadership preferred
• 9+ years in management consulting preferred
• Experience in in-house recruiting, executive search, or large multinational organizations preferred

Compensation: $206,000 – $235,100 annually
