Director Engineering Operations Leader
Responsibilities
Identify and implement automation, digitalization, and AI opportunities to eliminate manual work; drive Lean/Agile/Six Sigma improvements; standardize KPIs and leading indicators to elevate engineering effectiveness to drive growth.
Lead engineering portfolio planning, manage AOP for engineering tools, track adoption, drive consolidation, and align investments with strategic growth initiatives.
Define KPIs (OTD, utilization, schedule adherence, budget, quality, NPI success); build executive dashboards; deliver data-driven insights.
Serve as the conduit to central corporate teams to bring in best practices, frameworks, and standards; collaborate closely with Process Excellence teams to drive delivery improvements, harmonize processes, and elevate engineering execution maturity.
Qualifications
- Technical Degree & Tools: Bachelor’s degree in a technical STEM discipline; Electrical Engineering preferred, with advanced engineering degrees highly valued. Expertise in Data Analytics tools such as Excel, Tableau and Power BI.
- Engineering Leadership, Operations / PM Experience: 5+ years in engineering leadership roles with a strong record of managing cross-functional and global teams. With minimum 3 years’ experience in Engineering Operations or Project Management.
- Global Team Leadership: Proven ability to lead, influence, and develop high-performing global teams.
- Leadership, Communication & Strategic Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and strategic problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively.
About the role
This role partners closely with Finance, Product Operations, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure engineering investments translate into measurable business outcomes—especially through New Product Introduction (NPI) and strategic growth initiatives.
You will report directly to our senior leadership team, and you’ll work out of our Atlanta, GA location on a Hybrid work schedule.
