DIRECTOR - ENGINEERING

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned semiconductor sales professional with at least 15 years of experience in custom silicon or FPGA sales to embedded markets such as Industrial, Networking, Medical Devices, Automotive, and others. The ideal candidate will have an established network of buyer personas for custom silicon/ASIC products in the US market and a proven track record in consultative and solution-based sales approaches.

Responsibilities

• Originate and close custom silicon development contracts, including negotiation of complex contracts and business models.
• Independently drive opportunities to successful conclusions by understanding both technical and business requirements, leveraging a strong technical background in broad embedded markets.
• Develop and execute new account and market penetration strategies to generate consistent demand.
• Travel to meet clients across US locations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 15 years of experience in semiconductor sales for custom silicon or FPGA to embedded markets (e.g., Industrial, Networking, Medical Devices, Automotive).
• Existing, established network of buyer personas for custom silicon/ASIC products in target US market segments.
• Experience in consultative and solution-based sales approaches for semiconductor products.
• Strong technical background in embedded markets.

Pay

Expected compensation for this role ranges from $190,000.00 to $265,000.00. Final compensation will depend on geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience.
