Director, Energy Cash Management Sales

As an Energy Treasury Management Officer with RBC, you will help grow a new business within an established top tier financial institution by cultivating new cash management relationships across our well established Energy Capital Markets and Corporate Banking teams.
Responsibilities
- Persuasively articulate RBC’s US Cash Management value proposition both internally and externally
- Grow RBCs capital markets client base and drive revenue by successfully prospecting and sourcing new cash management opportunities while expanding existing customer relationships
- Facilitate strategic dialogue focusing on key client-centric topics, deliver industry benchmarking insight, and partner cross functionally to contribute to the design of a tailored end-to-end cash management solution
- Collaborate with Client Relationship Managers, Account Management, and Product to bring forth client insights that will drive solution development and enhancement
- Raise new solution ideas while partnering with internal product stakeholders to represent the client perspective in the development and evolution of products and solutions
- Deliver thought leadership to the market, prospects and clients on working capital solutions at client roundtables, industry conferences, webinars, and professional media platforms
- Devise and execute a plan to exceed sales goals
- Accountable for the development of a sales pipeline of both new and cross-sell opportunities and appropriately managing those opportunities through to decision
Requirements
- 5+ years of cash management, sales and relationship management experience
- Success developing new business with focus on prospecting utilizing strong selling and negotiation skills
- Knowledge and understanding of Treasury Service products, credit and risk process, overdraft management discipline, and pricing philosophy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to develop strong working relationships with clients and colleagues
- Strong time management, organizational and planning skills
- Demonstrated experience of meeting or exceeding sales goals; proven top individual contributor
- Aptitude for powerful presentations and negotiation skills with internal and external clients
- Experience covering the Energy sector preferred

Pay
The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $220,000 - $250,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs. This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
