Responsibilities
- Mission Leadership and Impact:
- Place mission impact at the forefront of all work.
- Translate mission and advocacy to demonstrate impact and align with supporter interests.
- Leverage mission impact opportunities to engage supporters and expand/implement mission programs.
- Communicate mission impact to drive new investment opportunities.
- Mobilize volunteers, increase corporate relationships, and meet fundraising goals while positioning March of Dimes as a leader in maternal and child health care.
- Diversified Revenue Portfolio:
- Maintain and grow a donor revenue portfolio by moving donors through the continuum and adding new prospects.
- Increase local revenue by identifying corporate partners and developing strategic alliances.
- Identify diversified revenue opportunities aligned with donor mission goals.
- Maintain a year-round revenue pipeline for events, mission investments, major/mid-level gifts, and planned giving.
- Recruit and lead volunteer leadership to increase market revenue growth.
- Research and analyze revenue growth opportunities and develop strategic partnerships.
- Execute best-in-class fundraising events to drive impact and acquire new supporters.
- Provide tailored donor experiences and mission-led activations in stewardship plans.
- Ensure a 360-degree view of donors/prospects by logging interactions in CRM.
- Volunteer Leadership:
- Collaborate with market leadership to identify, recruit, and steward volunteer leaders.
- Engage volunteers year-round in mission impact, fundraising, and advocacy priorities.
- Utilize the Volunteer Hub to engage and inform volunteers.
- Qualify and activate candidates for volunteer roles in event committees.
- Staff Development:
- Hold direct reports accountable to productivity and profitability goals.
- Provide constructive feedback and performance reviews.
- Create a diverse, respectful, and professional work environment.
- Set and monitor individual performance goals aligned with organizational objectives.
- Implement growth strategies as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven success in cultivating and securing major gifts and corporate partnerships.
- Demonstrated ability to cultivate relationships across sectors, communities, and levels.
- Proven success in recruiting and retaining high-level volunteer leaders and board members.
- Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate staff and lead change.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
