About the Role

We lead in radio, podcasting, live events, and digital audio advertising, with a comprehensive ad technology stack that enables data-driven, multi-platform campaigns. The Director of Digital Sales will drive digital revenue strategy for the East Region, leading high-impact integrated campaigns across Streaming Audio, Podcasts, Social Influencers, CTV, and more.
Responsibilities
- Translate market and digital business strategies into specific actions to generate sales and revenue.
- Develop strategic digital sales solutions that integrate with iHeart’s non-digital media assets.
- Act as a strategic resource (ideation, brainstorming) for Sales Managers, AEs, and clients across the East Region.
- Serve as a constant liaison between sales, clients, and vendors.
- Maintain expertise on digital product features and benefits, including Ad Tagging, Rich Media, Data Sharing for attribution, Audience Targeting, Viewability Studies, and Systems.
- Join client-facing meetings with AEs and Sales Managers.
- Provide ongoing team training and development specific to digital marketing and iHeart’s digital platform.
- Collaborate with Customer Success Managers, Project Managers, Operational Support, and third-party ad tech partners to ensure proper planning, execution, optimization, and recapping of all digital sales campaigns.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of digital, broadcasting, marketing, promotion, and collection standards.
- Ability to create productive, long-term customer relationships.
- Entrepreneurial self-starter with excellent organizational, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills.
- Excellent decision-making, communication, and influencing skills.
- 3+ years’ experience in digital sales in the media industry with a proven track record of success.
- Broadcast/traditional media sales and/or sales leadership experience a plus.
- 4-year college degree preferred.
- IAB Certification preferred.

Location & Schedule
Nashville, TN; 1200 Broadway, 6th Floor, 37203. This is a full-time, regular position.
