Responsibilities

• Oversees the day-to-day functions of the Diagnostic Imaging Department to include Radiology, Ultrasound, MRI, IR, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography, Support Services, Transport and CT.
• Works directly with supervisors on a daily basis in areas including but not limited to:
  • Evaluating/coaching staff
  • Communicating changes in procedures and departmental issues by conducting meetings
  • Written and verbal communication
  • Assessing equipment needs and ensuring all warranties & contracts are current
  • Staying abreast in current diagnostic imaging technology and assessing areas for improvement and growth
• Under administrative direction of the COO and the Chairman of Diagnostic Imaging, performs administrative and consultative duties as needed for the department, or delegates to supervisors.

Requirements

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Associate Degree (ARRT‑R) Radiography, or (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer, or (RDMS) Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer.
