Director, Delivery Operations Solutions
About the role
The US Vaccines Strategic Marketing, Commercial Strategy, and Product Operations organization creates and implements customer-centric solutions to fully realize the potential of Sanofi’s innovative vaccine portfolio and future pipeline. The Director, Delivery Operations Solutions is responsible for integrating demand management, order fulfillment, customer delivery solutions, and distribution operations, providing end-to-end accountability for vaccine fulfillment readiness, customer-centric delivery innovation, and operational excellence supporting a multi-billion-dollar vaccine portfolio. The role acts as the primary liaison across Sales, Marketing, Commercial Operations, Distribution, VaxServe, Manufacturing, Customer Service, and external immunization partners to ensure seamless delivery from demand planning through customer receipt.
Responsibilities
- Lead Sanofi Operations activities to create partnerships with targeted organizations, groups, and institutions to create or enhance inventory management solutions.
- Lead Operations team’s planning, preparation, and implementation activities to ensure alignment with Commercial Operations objectives, including pre-respiratory season planning, testing, and order optimization.
- Partner with targeted immunization partners/customers (health systems, PBGs) to identify, design, and implement unique/novel vaccine operations processes that build differentiated value offerings.
- Coordinate customer delivery projects defined in customer journeys, which may include inventory management, returns processing, and supply chain management tool integration with health systems (e.g., GHX).
- Coordinate Operations activities across distribution partners to ensure excellent service experiences, including delivery forecasts, customer needs, and resource utilization.
- Implement key aspects of the Business Operations Plan—including the ordering process, customer/product allocations, and shipping processes—across Sanofi and VaxServe.
- Conduct market research to identify short- and long-term opportunities that create competitive advantages and differentiate the company from competitors.
- Lead the development and implementation of order fulfillment solutions that create measurable brand differentiation and value.
- Serve as a key information resource for all Sanofi functional areas regarding the order fulfillment process.
- Champion cross-functional communication to discuss market trends, process acceptance, and the overall perception of Sanofi’s order fulfillment process and tools.
- Identify key performance service and demand metrics and develop and maintain a delivery scorecard to ensure maximum operational efficiencies (forecasts, buffers).
- Act as liaison to VaxServe and Distribution Teams and to Sales Teams; drive organizational awareness of Operations’ activities while instilling increased confidence in Sanofi capabilities.

Requirements
- BS/BA or other advanced degree.
- 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in operations, supply chain, logistics, demand planning, business operations, or commercial operations.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong analytical and project management capabilities.
- Experience with order fulfillment, product allocation, inventory management, and distribution processes.
- Working knowledge of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI).
- SAP proficiency.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience working with distributors, third-party logistics providers, and customer delivery solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience within vaccines, pharmaceuticals, biologics, healthcare, or related industries.
- Experience working directly with health systems, GPOs, distributors, and integrated delivery networks.
- Experience implementing customer supply chain integrations and digital operational solutions.
- Experience managing large-scale operational transformations and continuous improvement initiatives.
