Ipsen is looking for a proactive and visionary leader to advance the Data & Digital Enablement function in North America. This position shapes business and data architecture strategies, ensuring dependable, compliant, and scalable digital and data solutions across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Own and deliver an enterprise-trusted data foundation and analytics-ready data products.
- Set direction and govern integration patterns across CRM (e.g., Veeva), Salesforce Clouds, MDM, Data Warehouse/Lakehouse.
- Define and drive a stable Health Cloud roadmap that addresses Patient Services pain points while establishing a scalable long-term architecture.
- Own the architecture for omnichannel essentials—Preference Center, identity resolution, and site tagging/telemetry.
- Establish a single front door for business intake, design reviews, change control, and vendor governance.
- Lead the NA commercial tech stack (e.g., One Analytics, Salesforce Health Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, OneTrust, etc.).
- Shape and execute the roadmap for Ipsen Patient Hub in partnership with Value & Access/Patient Services.
- Partner strategically with the Data Strategy & Analytics team to operationalize trusted KPIs/dashboards and service levels across domains.
- Oversee program management, including regular updates, progress reporting, and communications to NA and global leadership.
- Liaise with Corporate IT and Security to deploy global tools/services that meet NA business requirements.
- Provide leadership across internal teams and external partners, ensuring strong vendor governance, effective prioritization, and delivery against strategic goals.
- Own budget responsibility for NA commercial data and omnichannel platforms, and ongoing run/optimization costs.
Requirements
- 15 years in data management and business/data architecture with proven cross-functional delivery.
- 10+ years modernizing cloud data platforms and operationalizing KPIs.
- Strong knowledge of biopharma data assets (claims, SP, syndicated data, CRM, digital/omni).
- Experience setting up and evolving pharma commercial business/data architecture, and integration patterns.
- Deep understanding of pharmaceutical/biotechnology value chain and compliance considerations.
- Ability to synthesize complex topics and communicate with senior leaders.
- Strong business and financial acumen; knowledge of current/emerging data/AI trends.
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management.
Skills
- Cloud/Data Platforms: AWS (S3, Glue), Snowflake/Redshift, Databricks; orchestration (Airflow); strong Python/SQL.
- Salesforce Ecosystem: Health Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud; CRM integration (e.g., Veeva).
- BI & Semantics: Tableau and/or Power BI; semantic layers, certified datasets, and governed metrics.
- Data Governance & Quality: Catalog, lineage, privacy, and change control for regulated environments.
- Biopharma Data Expertise: Claims, SP/SD, syndicated datasets, CRM, and digital/omnichannel data.
- Workflow & Processing: Scaling workflows in Patient Services/Market Access contexts.
- Vendor & Stakeholder Leadership: Cross-functional leadership and vendor performance management.
Qualifications
- BA/BS in a technical or analytical field (essential).
- Master’s or MBA in technical, data, or business disciplines (preferred).
- Leadership in vendor governance and large-scale transformation (preferred).
- English (essential); additional language a plus.
Pay
The annual base salary range for this position is $177,000 - $259,000. This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentives program.
