Responsibilities
- You will define your team’s data strategy and own the creation and execution of solutions across the team
- You will manage multiple, and at times simultaneous, projects from start to finish, balancing impact, scope and speed, to get the data and insight in a timely manner.
- You will create novel insights, advocate for them, and lead them into action
- You will oversee team deliverables and represent the team’s work and impact at the executive level
- You will democratize data and insights through skillful data structuring and use of visualization tools
- You will navigate through ambiguity and organizational structures to advise stakeholders on how to best evaluate and implement initiatives from a data perspective
- You will leads, hire, onboard, and develop talent, careers, and culture of analytics within your team
- You will proactively lead data projects by fostering collaboration, building consensus and driving initiatives to successful completion
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience working with data analytics or data science teams to deliver reporting, analysis and insight or a quantitative degree
- Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases
- 3+ years of people management experience
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Mode, Tableau, or Lookr
Preferred qualifications
- Familiarity with Google BigQuery, AWS, or other big data environments
- Comfort with version control (Github, code review)
- Experience leading product or subscription analytics strategy
- 5+ years of experience communicating key insights cross-functionally (written, visually and verbally)
