Director, Credit Risk/First Party Fraud Oversight, Consumer Lending (2nd LOD)

About the role

The Director, Credit Risk/First Party Fraud Oversight will oversee the credit risk and first party fraud processes within the Consumer Lending division. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and implementing strategies to mitigate risks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the development and implementation of credit risk policies and procedures
• Monitor and analyze credit risk metrics to identify trends and potential issues
• Develop and maintain relationships with external regulators and industry partners
• Lead cross-functional teams in the identification and mitigation of first party fraud risks
• Conduct regular risk assessments and provide recommendations for improvement
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and regulatory standards

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum 10 years of experience in credit risk management or related field
• Experience in consumer lending or financial services industry
• Proven track record of successfully managing and mitigating credit risk and fraud
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
