Director, Credit Risk

Responsibilities

• Lead ongoing underwriting and portfolio management for the company’s customers
• Develop strategies balancing growth, experience, and performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for scalable credit decisions
• Coach and develop a high-performing team of credit professionals
• Build relationships with CFOs to evaluate complex credit situations
• Drive operational improvements in underwriting and decision-making
• Champion adoption of AI and automation for efficiency
• Shape the company's commercial credit capabilities during expansion

Qualifications

• 10+ years in commercial credit risk or related field
• Expertise in evaluating financial statements and cash flow
• Experience managing commercial customer portfolios
• Strong understanding of commercial credit products
• Proven leadership in fast-paced financial services environment
• Excellent communication and ability to influence senior stakeholders
• Passion for operational efficiency through technology and automation
