About This Opportunity Ericsson is seeking a detail-oriented and commercially minded Director Commercial Contract Management to support deal-shaping and drive contractual excellence across Market Area Americas within Business Area Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions (BEWS). This role offers the opportunity to manage the full contract lifecycle, contribute to strategic commercial decisions, and build strong cross-functional partnerships across a global organization. What You Will Do Serve as the primary contractual point of contact for BEWS, managing the end-to-end contract lifecycle — from opportunity evaluation through negotiation, execution, governance, and closure — ensuring alignment with Ericsson's policies, sales directives, and regulatory requirementsProvide strategic contract guidance aligned with company objectives, working across Business Area and Market Area stakeholders to promote risk awareness and governance disciplinePartner with Sales teams to identify contractual risks early, building compliance awareness and supporting Ericsson's strategic positioningBuild trusted working relationships across geographies, customer units, and internal functions to enable smooth contract executionCollaborate with Commercial Management, Legal, Finance, and Sales stakeholders to review and refine commercial terms and conditionsMaintain thorough contract documentation, follow-up processes, and compliance with internal policies and approval frameworksApply proactive problem-solving to navigate complexity while embracing digital tools, AI-enabled processes, and continuous improvement practices Location: Plano, Texas (preferred) or Boise, Idaho. The Skills You Bring Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or equivalent qualificationAt least 7 years of relevant commercial contract management experience with a solid understanding of contract and business law principlesAbility to navigate complex organizations and engage effectively with diverse stakeholders including Sales, Legal, Finance, Delivery, Sourcing, and OperationsExperience managing customer and stakeholder relationships across all organizational levelsStrong ability to prioritize independently and deliver results in dynamic, fast-paced environmentsWorking proficiency with contract lifecycle management systems, sales governance tools, analytics platforms, or automation solutionsFamiliarity with Enterprise Go-to-Market models and/or experience in telecommunications, IT projects, or indirect salesFluency in English (written and spoken); additional language proficiency is an advantageWorld Commerce & Contracting (WCC) / IACCM certification or equivalent is a plus Why join Ericsson? Your Pay The salary range for this position is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, and the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience. Short-Term Variable Compensation Plan: Your pay also includes the opportunity for an annual bonus. Actual bonus payouts are based on performance of the business against the unit’s objectives, individual performance, and the individual bonus target. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply. Please note paid time off is pro-rated based on the employee’s start date. Furthermore, Ericsson provides up to 16 weeks of paid maternity leave and 6 weeks of parental or adoption leave at 100% of pay.
