Director, Consumer Center of Excellence
Overview
The Director, Consumer Center of Excellence role is part of Compliance & Ethics (C&E), focusing on enhancing the Compliance Management Program (CMP) to ensure Capital One effectively manages compliance risk. Key responsibilities include contributing to initiative design and delivery, collaborating with stakeholders, leveraging data and analytics, and providing strategic program leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
- At least 8 years of experience in compliance, risk management, legal, or audit
- At least 5 years of process, project, or program management experience
- At least 4 years of people management experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree or Juris Doctor
- Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) or Certified Enterprise Risk Professional (CERP)
- 7+ years of experience in financial services
- Experience designing and implementing compliance management programs
- Expertise in consumer protection laws (e.g., FCRA, SCRA)
Compensation
The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
- Chicago, IL: $187,300 - $213,700 for Director, Compliance
