About the role
WORK REMOTELY BASED OUTSIDE OF KYNDRYL OFFICES
Responsibilities
- Own, run, and grow a targeted set of accounts within existing insurance portfolios.
- Identify and convert net-new opportunities, focusing on clients with immediate AI transformation needs and mission-critical modernization agendas.
- Build and maintain deep relationships with client CXOs and senior executives, becoming a trusted advisor and the go-to person for strategic technology decisions.
- Lead C-level client interactions and consulting initiatives, delivering high-quality outcomes alongside senior stakeholders.
- Drive client satisfaction as measured by Net Promoter Score (NPS) and secure client references for expanded engagement.
- Drive significant financial outcomes through signings, revenue targets, and backlog growth.
- Ensure sustained profitability, managing margin expectations across engagements.
- Lead multi-disciplinary teams through complex consulting engagements, fostering a culture of curiosity, innovation, and continuous development.
- Utilize insurance industry and technology expertise to shape Kyndryl's strategic initiatives and align with the company's broader vision.
- Develop thought leadership, intellectual capital, and a strong personal and organizational brand in the market.
Requirements
- Proven, repeatable track record of owning, growing, and expanding accounts from a small base into significant revenue relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to operate in white space — building relationships and pipeline in markets where infrastructure and brand recognition are still developing.
- Comfort engaging at the CXO level with credibility, gravitas, and the ability to advise on both business strategy and technology transformation.
- Familiarity with AI-driven transformation use cases and the ability to articulate their value to insurance sector executives.
- Existing market relationships that accelerate time-to-trust with target accounts.
Qualifications
- Deep expertise in the Specialty Insurance market, including complex, high-risk and bespoke coverage models.
- Strong understanding of specialty underwriting, broker-driven distribution, and tailored policy structures.
- Property & Casualty (P&C) experience is a strong plus, particularly where it intersects with specialty lines.
- Additional familiarity with Life Insurance and broker ecosystems is beneficial.
Skills
- Strong understanding of insurance core platforms, including Policy Administration Systems (Guidewire, Duck Creek, Majesco, etc.), Underwriting and workflow orchestration tools, and Claims platforms (especially in specialty/P&C environments).
- Ability to sell transformation of legacy technology estates, positioning modernization as a driver of growth and efficiency.
- Agentic AI & Value Proposition: Ability to lead with and sell Agentic AI-driven transformation, including orchestrating complex underwriting workflows, automating case-based decisioning and risk evaluation, enhancing broker and agent engagement models, and articulating tangible business outcomes such as accelerated underwriting cycles and deal velocity, improved pricing and risk accuracy, scalable operations for bespoke products, and P&C knowledge (plus) positioning AI within major policy administration ecosystems (Guidewire, Duck Creek, Majesco preferred).

$185,760 to $334,320 based on a full-time schedule.
