Director, Compensation, Total Rewards, Baptist Jacksonville

Responsibilities

• Play a critical role in shaping the strategic direction of Baptist Health’s compensation programs.
• Ensure all compensation programs are compliant with federal and state regulations.
• Develop and maintain policies and procedures that reinforce compliance and operational excellence.
• Serve as a strategic partner to executive leadership, external consultants, and internal stakeholders to deliver streamlined, market-competitive, and cost-effective compensation programs.
• Act as a key member of the Total Rewards leadership team, reporting directly to the Vice President of Total Rewards.
• Be a hands-on, high-energy leader, ready to roll up their sleeves and jump in, while also serving as a mentor and developer of talent, building and guiding a high-performing compensation team.

Requirements

• 7+ years of compensation experience required
• 3–5 years of leadership/management experience required
• 3-5 years of healthcare industry experience required

Education and Certification Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) required
• Master’s degree (MA/MS) preferred
• Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) preferred
• SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) preferred
• Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) preferred
• Professional in Human Resources (PHR) preferred
