Director, Commercial Planning & Growth

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead commercial planning and business planning support for priority initiatives and growth themes.
  • Develop market sizing, TAM/SAM, and opportunity assessments for key markets, segments, and services.
  • Build business cases and investment recommendations to support executive decision making.
  • Support growth initiatives including strategic account expansion, and other executive-sponsored priorities.
  • Partner with Commercial Leadership and Corporate Strategy to turn strategic priorities into clear commercial actions.
  • Support MVC growth planning through whitespace analysis, opportunity prioritization, and structured account planning.
  • Develop and maintain foundational market and competitive intelligence that supports growth decisions.
  • Create a repeatable planning process that improves consistency and execution.

Leadership Expectations

  • Act as a trusted thought partner to executive and commercial leaders.
  • Translate ambiguity into practical next steps.
  • Influence decisions without direct authority.
  • Drive alignment across functions, regions, and stakeholder groups.
  • Balance strategic thinking with pragmatic execution.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in commercial planning, business planning, strategy, consulting, commercial operations, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience building business cases, growth plans, or opportunity assessments.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
  • Experience supporting executive leadership and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Able to work effectively in a complex, matrixed organization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in media, broadcast, sports, technology, live events, or adjacent B2B services.
  • Experience supporting transformation, integration, or growth initiatives.
  • International business or multi-region experience.
  • Exposure to strategic account planning or segment-based growth planning.
