Key Responsibilities
- Drive Growth & Build Your Portfolio: Own the full sales cycle—from prospecting to close—for brand-side marketers and agency partners
- Identify, prioritize, and pursue new business opportunities with brand-side marketers and agency partners
- Collaborate closely with other vertical team members to ensure a compelling, consultative sales experience that drives long-term value
Deliver Strategic Solutions
- Understand each brand’s unique marketing challenges through active listening and thoughtful discovery
- Education clients on how the associated VDX.tv solutions can address their specific challenge
- Lead client discovery, pitch, and consultative strategy sessions—both independently and other team members
Be a Trusted Industry Expert
- Maintain a strong understanding of marketing strategies in the vertical industry team you join
- Build strong, trusted relationships with brand-side marketers and agency teams
- Represent VDX.tv at client meetings, conferences, and industry events
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of experience in business development, account strategy, or client partnership within digital marketing, advertising, or media — including agency or ad tech environments
- Proven track record in new business development within the AdTech industry
- Strong ability to discuss a brand's marketing strategy with senior marketers
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to build trust and relationships at all levels
- Experience managing client relationships of all levels including with senior executives at brands and agencies
- Proven success in consultative selling and client marketing strategy
- Strategic thinking balanced with strong execution capabilities and hands-on approach
- Self-motivated with ability to operate independently in ambiguous situations
- Growth mindset with a hunger to learn
