We are hiring a Director, Client Partnerships to join our new & growth advertising team on the East Coast! Why it matters: In this role, you will report to the Head of New & Growth Partnerships and work with new and existing partners to build Axios’ revenue through successful client partnerships. This position requires the following:7+ years’ experience in sales, specifically in the digital media/news industryEstablished relationships with key agencies and brandsExperience in an outbound sales environmentUnderstanding of digital media, online marketing technology, and Axios’ competitive landscapeExceptional cross-functional collaboration skills and the willingness to proactively partner with Axios Brand Studio and the events teamWillingness to travel and attend social events and engagements representing AxiosGrowth mindset with hunger to constantly learn and improve your craftComfortable with a mix of outbound sales strategy as well as the nurturing of inbound leads and existing client relationships The starting base salary for this role is in the range of $110,000 - $130,000 and depends on numerous factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, and skills. This range does not include other compensation and benefits.Note that the total compensation offered for this role includes incremental variable compensation based on sales territory, which is contingent upon the successful achievement of predetermined sales targets.
