Director, Channel Strategy

For our client, we are seeking a Director, Channel Strategy to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. This leader will shape the channel strategy that supports growth across a complex enterprise technology ecosystem. The role will partner closely with Product, Finance, and regional leadership to translate strategic priorities into actionable plans, investment decisions, and measurable outcomes. It also requires bringing an informed external perspective on partner trends, competitive dynamics, and channel performance to executive strategy discussions. Location: Redwood City, CA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $213,000 – $319,000 annually Responsibilities Maintain a current view of the partner ecosystem and industry direction Provide an independent, informed perspective during strategy reviews Build and sustain the three-year channel strategy and investment models Translate strategic priorities into actionable initiatives with clear ownership Aggregate product requirements into a unified backlog for the CPO Design and manage KPI frameworks across all teams Document interlocks, manage dependencies, and escalate issues appropriately Represent channel strategy in cross-functional planning forums and workshops Qualifications 15+ years in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, or channel/partner strategy roles Experience in competitive intelligence and partner ecosystem analysis Proficient in building financial and investment models for commercial organizations Skilled in designing KPI frameworks and executive scorecards Experience collaborating with Product, Finance, and regional leadership in a matrixed organization Strong background in channel, partner, GTM, or revenue operations strategy Benefits Competitive health, life, and disability insurance options Retirement plan contributions from both employee and employer Accrued paid time off (PTO) and paid holidays Access to an Employee Assistance Program for support Inclusive benefits package designed to enhance employee experiences Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
