Director, Channel Marketing, TV

About the Role
Reporting to the VP of Product Marketing for TV, the Head of Channel Marketing will manage the overall Channel team, overseeing go-to-market (GTM) execution, profit, strategy, and performance for key partners. This includes assortments, programs, channel management, P&L, market share (IHS), and supply chain. The role collaborates daily with the Sales team to ensure business goals are met.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the sole owner of assigned accounts, accountable for all aspects of the business, including but not limited to:
- Supply chain forecasting and participation in CPFR (Collaborative Planning, Forecasting, and Replenishment) calls
- Alignment and execution to achieve target IHS share goals
- Securing and approving budgets for marketing and sales/distribution (S/D) dollars
- Driving sales/revenue and contributing to profit management
- Ensuring competitive price positioning within accounts and channels
- Overseeing execution of merchandising strategies
- Developing assortment and GTM strategies for respective accounts
- Attending customer meetings and following up on action items
- Acting as the primary communication source for alignment with Product Product Managers (PMs)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 15+ years of experience in retail, specifically with buying teams, and product management
- Previous retailer account experience and/or consumer electronics industry experience preferred
- Proven track record in roles where initiative and execution drove business results
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, V-lookups, etc.)
- Experience with negotiations, leadership, and professional presentations
- Strong financial analysis and simulation skills
