Director Cardiology/Neurology

About the role

Manages the personnel and the environment to ensure efficient, cost-effective, quality patient care in NKC Health areas of Echocardiology, EKG, Cardiac Nuclear Medicine/PET, Heart Care/Neurology, and the NKC Health Medical Group Heart & Lung Surgery Clinic.

Responsibilities

• Manages personnel and resources to provide high-quality patient care
• Ensures compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements
• Oversees the day-to-day operations of assigned departments
• Collaborates with medical staff to improve patient outcomes
• Monitors and maintains a safe and healthy work environment

Requirements

• 5 years Nursing / Clinical experience required; 1 year in specialty preferred
• Previous management experience preferred
• Basic computer skills

Qualifications

• Required: RN (Registered Nurse) State of Missouri
• Required: BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association)
