Director, Cardiology

Key Responsibilities

• Operational oversight of cardiovascular services including Invasive Cardiology, Non-Invasive Cardiology, Cardiac Imaging, and Cardiac Rehabilitation.
• Strategic leadership in advancing cardiovascular service line initiatives, enhancing patient access and experience, and supporting program growth.
• Close collaboration with cardiologists, vascular surgeons, medical directors, and executive leadership.
• Overseeing daily operations, staffing, quality outcomes, regulatory compliance, financial performance, and program growth across multiple departments and outpatient locations.
• Ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, and efficient patient care.
• Leading staff recruitment, development, performance management, scheduling, and workforce planning.
• Monitoring departmental performance metrics, preparing monthly reports, and ensuring adherence to national standards, payer requirements, and accreditation guidelines.
• Partnership with Neuroscience leadership to support the delivery of comprehensive neurovascular care at campuses providing neurointerventional services.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years critical care or telemetry experience with 1 year in inpatient cardiac rehab preferred.
• Minimum 5 years and proven track record in hospital outpatient operations management acquired through management experience.
• Bachelor's Degree required, Masters preferred.
• Graduate from accredited nursing program.
• RN with a PA License required, BLS Certification by American Heart Association preferred upon hire.

Pay

This position is eligible for up to $6,000 per year based upon Full or Part Time status.
