OpenText is a global leader in information management, where innovation, creativity, and collaboration are the key components of our corporate culture. As a member of our team, you will partner with highly regarded companies worldwide, tackle complex issues, and contribute to projects shaping the future of digital transformation.

About the role

This Director leads the Global Campaign Marketing team, owning end-to-end planning, execution, and optimization of integrated demand campaigns that directly support product portfolio growth programs. The role aligns marketing strategy with business strategy and translates campaign frameworks into pipeline. It is a leadership mandate to define and lead a new team, establishing a cohesive unit with a single operating model, standards, and accountable pipeline number. The position operates during significant organizational change and requires comfort in making and owning decisions amid transition.

Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the new team: set its operating model, roles, standards, and priorities, making and owning decisions to establish and sustain it through ongoing change.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a consolidated team spanning campaign marketing, intent-based orchestration (6Sense), and paid media, reinforcing shared processes, quality standards, and a unified team culture.
  • Own the planning and execution of integrated campaigns across business units (BU), cross-BU, and whole-portfolio campaigns, ensuring alignment with product portfolio growth programs and measurable pipeline contribution.
  • Align campaign strategy with business strategy to reflect product portfolio investment priorities.
  • Direct the 6Sense practice for buying group identification, intent scoring, and orchestration, operating the current MQL waterfall model while transitioning to multithreaded account-based qualification.
  • Set paid media strategy and manage the Paid Media budget for BU, cross-BU, and portfolio-wide campaigns, holding specialists and agency partners accountable for efficiency and pipeline-sourced return.
  • Manage agency relationships across media and campaign execution, setting briefs, standards, and performance expectations.
  • Partner with Product Marketing Managers (PMM) to convert positioning and messaging into campaign assets, offers, and journeys that sellers can act on.
  • Establish and report the team’s contribution to sourced and influenced pipeline using consistent measurement across all campaign types.
  • Coordinate with marketing operations on campaign instrumentation, data flows, and systems dependencies underpinning qualification and routing.
  • Serve as the connective point between campaign execution and go-to-market (GTM) strategy, ensuring campaigns reflect the governed information layer as a precondition for agentic transformation.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in B2B campaign or demand marketing, with 3+ years leading and building teams.
  • Demonstrated ownership of a pipeline number and a track record of measurable marketing-sourced growth.
  • Working knowledge of both MQL waterfall qualification and buying-group qualified account (BQA) models, with the ability to operate one while transitioning to the other.
  • Hands-on fluency with 6Sense or a comparable intent and orchestration platform, and with buying-group demand models.
  • Direct experience managing paid media strategy and budgets across search, social, programmatic, and syndication.
  • Proven experience managing agency partners across creative, media, or campaign execution.
  • Strong operating discipline: process design, measurement rigor, and consistent cross-team execution.
  • Comfort defining structure and owning decisions in a high-change environment, including working closely with Sales through significant transition.
  • Experience partnering with product marketing and marketing operations in a matrixed enterprise environment.
  • Enterprise software or technology sector experience preferred.
