Requirements
maybe? Or "Qualifications". The instruction: use headings for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). So we need to map content accordingly. We have: About the role: the introductory paragraph(s) about mission, etc. Could be "About the role". Then Responsibilities: list of key responsibilities bullet points. Then Requirements: basic qualifications? Could be "Requirements". Then Qualifications: preferred qualifications? Could be "Qualifications". Then Skills: maybe not separate; but we could combine preferred qualifications into Qualifications. Benefits: we have benefits info: company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, life insurance, plus discretionary bonus, stock incentives, PTO, benefits package. So we can create Benefits section. Pay: we have salary range $205,615 - $266,090. So Pay section. Schedule: we have flexible working policy: two days remote, three days onsite; also location info about relocation. So Schedule section. We must not include headings with filler text. Ensure we include only sections with real content. We must not repeat job title as heading. No Job ID etc. We must remove boilerplate: EEO, legal, accommodation, etc. Also remove internal career opportunities note, social media links, etc. We must preserve all substantive information. So we need to keep mission paragraph, relocation note, flexible work policy, location options, responsibilities list, basic qualifications, preferred qualifications, people leader accountabilities (maybe part of Requirements or Qualifications?), salary range, benefits description. People Leader Accountabilities: could be part of Requirements or Qualifications? It's about leadership expectations. Could be under "Requirements" or "Qualifications". Since it's about people leader accountabilities, maybe treat as part of "Qualifications". But we already have Basic Qualifications and Preferred Qualifications. People Leader Accountabilities could be a separate section like "People Leader Expectations" but not in allowed headings. Could fold into Qualifications. We need to output only HTML fragment, no markdown fences. Let's craft:About the role

The Director, Business Strategy & Operations reports to the Vice President and General Manager, US Commercial, and serves as a strategic and operational partner focused on improving organizational effectiveness and business impact. The role leads business strategy, planning, operating cadence, executive decision support, and organizational effectiveness, partnering across US Commercial to translate priorities into coordinated action and measurable outcomes. This role is based at Kite’s Santa Monica, California, headquarters. Kite is transitioning from its current Santa Monica headquarters, with employees expected to relocate to our El Segundo, CA or Thousand Oaks, CA office beginning in January 2027. While this role will be based in Santa Monica through 2026, applicants should take this planned relocation into consideration. Kite supports a flexible working policy, offering a balanced approach with two days of remote working and three days working onsite. This position can be based out of El Segundo, CA, Thousand Oaks, CA or Foster City, CA.

The salary range for this position is: $205,615.00 - $266,090.00. Kite considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role).
Schedule:Schedule
Kite supports a flexible working policy, offering a balanced approach with two days of remote working and three days working onsite. While this role will be based in Santa Monica through 2026, applicants should consider the planned relocation to El Segundo, CA or Thousand Oaks, CA office beginning in January 2027. We must ensure no duplicate content. We already mentioned flexible working policy in About the role paragraph; we repeated in Schedule. That's okay but maybe we should avoid duplication? The instruction: preserve ALL substantive information; do not invent or summarize away detail. Duplication is okay if it's in original? The original had flexible working policy mentioned in the About the role paragraph (the paragraph after relocation). It also appears again? Actually the original only mentions flexible working policy once: "Kite supports a flexible working policy, offering a balanced approach with two days of remote working and three days working onsite." That's in the paragraph after relocation. So we should not repeat it elsewhere. In our About the role we included that sentence. Then in Schedule we repeated it. Better to avoid duplication: keep it only in About the role or Schedule? The Schedule section should contain schedule info; we can mention the flexible working policy there and not duplicate in About the role. But About the role also needs to convey that info? The original had it in the same paragraph as relocation etc. We could keep About the role without that sentence, and put schedule details in Schedule section. However About the role currently includes mission etc. We could remove the flexible working sentence from About the role and keep it in Schedule. Let's adjust. Thus About the role paragraph will be mission + description of role + relocation note (without flexible working). Then Schedule section will contain flexible working policy and location options. Let's rewrite About the role:We’re here for one reason and one reason only – to cure cancer. Every moment is dedicated to developing treatments and every action moves us one step closer to our goal. We’ve made incredible scientific breakthroughs and our pioneering personalized CAR T-cell therapies have changed the paradigm. But we're not finished yet.
